Step 1: Hold a Florida Notary Commission

Before you can become an Online Notary, you must already be commissioned as a Florida Notary, a civil law Notary, or a commissioner of deeds. Requirements include:

• Be 18 years or older

• Be a legal resident of Florida

• Have no criminal record
